Hi everyone and welcome to the first #mealplanningmonday of February.
I'm going to keep it brief today, I'm sorry, I'm not going to lie I'm just really not up to mealplanning at the moment. I've got potential bad news heading my way and until I've confronted that situation I'm struggling to get my head straight. I'll hopefully be back with a vengeance next week but until then, please bear with me.
On a brighter note, the start of the diet went well regardless of the fact that I drank lots of medicinal red wine and even more medicinal Cosmopolitans and I lost around 3lb last week. I was very pleased with that and the good thing is that a loss always keeps me motivated for the next week. 3lb down, only 17lb to go. Gulp.
Mealplanning is basic this week. Needs must.
Grilled salmon and salad
Chicken chow mein
Homemade chunky vegetable soup
Red Thai prawn curry
Frittata and salad
Easy, easy, easy is the name of the game.

I didn't join in last week as it was end of the month and storecupboards were being raided! New month, and yeah we can eat properly again!

I do hope your bad news doesn't materialize! Congrats though on the weight loss - Might try the cosmo diet myself!!
