A-Z of Me Meme

I have been tagged by my new Twitter-friend Melksham Mum (we bonded over a mutual love of Brandon Flowers...) in this A-Z of me meme. That's an awful lot of me's isn't it?  I actually quite enjoying doing things like this and haven't done one for ages so here goes. 

ANORAK...Do you have a sad side? As you will have noticed on this blog, clearly I do. I label spice jars, I organise books into colour, my label-maker is my best friend, I'm geeky about things like family history, the Royals and bridges (don't ask). Safe to say, I do indeed have a sad side.

BODY...What physical attribute would you most like to change? I've always been quite happy with my lot, I'm nowhere near perfect or what I would like to look like but well, it will do. However, I'd now be quite happy to deal with my tummy area - the flab, the stretch marks but I fear it's a lost cause. 

CELEBRITY...Which one would you most like to date and why? If you know me well you'll know I love Robert Pattinson but then there is Jackson Rathbone and Brandon Flowers and  what about Ryan Gosling? Damn. It's got to be Brandon Flowers. Why? Because he IS going to be my next husband and we've got to start somewhere.

DEBUT...Tell us about your first ever blog post. What made you start blogging? My first blog post was about me embarking on trying to have a baby, this was March 2005. (I've just had to go look it up). I started because I was a member of a forum and well, everyone else was doing it!

ERROR...What's been your biggest regret? Not going to university. I wish I had have done a history degree. I know it's never too late but right now I can't commit the money or the time to it. Maybe one day...

FUNNY...Who's making you laugh? At the moment? Films. I laughed until I cried at Bridesmaids, chortled through Horrible Bosses and giggled with one eye open at The Inbetweeners.

GRAND...If we gave you one right now, what would you spend it on? Rather boringly probably fabric for blinds, floor tiles, worktop and a sink. We're buying it anywhere, but that's what it would be earmarked for.

HOLIDAY...What's your favourite destination? Florida or Disneyworld to be precise. The happiest place on earth!

IRRITATE...What's your most annoying habit? Probably the fact I am actually rather lazy.

JOKER...What's your favourite joke (the one that makes you laugh every time you hear it)? What's the difference between a weasel and a stoat? A weasel is weasily recognised but a stoat is stoatally different.

KENNEL...Do you have any pets? 3 chickens, 2 dogs, 8 cats.

LOVE...Are you single, married, engaged, living with a long term partner? Married for two years, together for almost ten.

MEAL...What's your ultimate starter, main and dessert? Mushrooms al forno, steak with the works, chocolate profiteroles.


NOW...If you could be anywhere right now where would you be and who with? Here, at home with Mr M. Ahhh, mushy huh? But we've been away so much over the past few months home is definitely where I want to be!


OFF DUTY...What do you do in your spare time? Read, bake cakes, genealogy, go to the cinema, eat out. 


PROUD MOMENTS...What are you most proud of? Clearly, my two beautiful children!


QUEASY...What turns your stomach? Not much actually! Certainly nothing food-wise.


RELAX...How do you relax? With a nice glass of red wine, some crisps and a really crappy film.


SONG...What's your favourite song of all time? Billie Jean by Michael Jackson.


TIME...If you could go back in time and relive it again, when would you choose? My school days, between the ages of 12-17. I had a blast, would love to do it all again.


UNKNOWN...Tell us something about yourself that no one else knows? I'm not sure there is anything? I'm sure Mr M knows everything there is to know about me.


VOCAL...Who is your favourite artist? Michael Buble.


WORK...What is your dream job and are you doing it now? Erm, definitely not doing it now. I'd like to be a historian or a genealogist, spending my days in dusty museums or archives.


XRAY...Any broken bones? Nope, none. Although I recently thought I had broken my toe. The jury is still out on that one.


YIKES...What's been your most embarrassing moment? I don't think it's happened yet!


ZOO...If you were an animal, which one would you be? A lion, as they sleep for about 18 hours a day.
