Gorgeous gifts for Mothers Day from Joules

It won't be long until Mothers Day is upon us again (which in my mind also equals Spring, and that word alone makes me feel bouncy at the prospect!) and it's time to start thinking about gorgeous gift ideas. Not for myself obviously, a card and a bunch of daffs is normally about as good as it gets for me round these parts but I'm not complaining, it is most definitely the thought that counts. I needn't worry about not being treated anyhow because Joules country clothing snuck in there first on the treat-front and recently sent me a gift of an absolutely gorgeous bag.

It's a delicious chocolate brown, 100% leather clutch bag with a handy wrist strap. It's a good size, enough to keep all your bits and pieces for a night out in and is beautifully lined in one of Joules floral prints. It's stylish enough for evening use but perfect for day use as well, making it very versatile. The leather is so beautifully soft to the touch and this is a bag that is certain to only get better with age. It feels like a little bit of luxury and I in turn feel like a very lucky girl indeed!

I realise the bag looks two totally different colours in those pictures but that happened every time I tried to get a close-up and I really wanted to show you the cute little hare motif!

Joules, if you aren't already aware of the, are a British brand and a leading country clothing brand, ideally suited and probably originally aimed at those who love the great outdoors. They have of course made an excellent transition to the high street and into the wardrobes of townies and country-dwelling folk alike! I have to be honest, I'd never really thought of Joules for accessories and gifts because I did see them as more of an outdoor wear brand but it made me see them in a new light! I actually hadn't thought that they would stock such gorgeous items like the lovely luxurious clutch bag above!

A quick furtle around their website during my tea-break shows they have lots of other gorgeous bags available too - I might have found somewhere new to fulfil my bag needs!

Am just loving that satchel in a wonderful shade reminiscent of cornflowers. Very country, but also perfect for taking to work.
