Blog Love (20th February 2014)


Wow, where does time go? I've had most of these posts stuck in my drafts folder for ages so consequently some of these links are quite old (well, a few weeks old anyway). Nevertheless they were posts I like so I'm going to share them anyway! Hope you find something good to read.

Meringues have been on my "to-do" list forever, can you believe I've never made them?! So I found the quest for perfect meringues on A Trifle Rushed an interesting read. It has inspired me!

The Foodie Couple Blog visited somewhere local to me which I found interesting as I've never actually been to this restaurant before. Must try it!

Disney + cocktails = two of my favourite things so the Disney Food Blog caught my attention straight away with this post about Disney themed cocktails!

Just the name Machiavellian Morello Cherry Loaf on Life, Ninja Killer Cat and Everything Else sucked me in. Cherries, loaf cakes - what's not to love!

We all love Mini Cheddars so I loved Ms Marmite Lovers post on homemade mini cheddars - definitely a must try though mine will never look THAT good.

Foodie Quine shared pictures of Valentines Cake Club, except she didn't make a cake. Oh no. She made fantastic Valentines themed canapés and I loved them!

I was salivating at the pictures of Brie and Cranberry Relish Grilled Cheese on Inside a British Mum's Kitchen. I'm still drooling now.

Belgian waffles with cherry and blueberry topping from Mummy Alarm, oh my.  This is definitely going to occur in our house!


There you go, that's Blog Love for this week. Inadvertently it turned out to be a foodie edition, I must be hungry - that's what diets do for you!

    I like the idea of savoury pancakes, but I have never had them. I guess, as boring as it may seem, it has to be lemon and sugar, like many here.
