Howdy partners. Yes, I'm late but at least I'm here right? Finally, the last #mealplanningmonday of January 2014! So so busy at the moment and this mroning involved a trip out for new scales and diet food. Yes, it's time to hit the diet head-on. I realised my scales weren't working this mroning when they were weighing me at just under 7stone. I wish! Turns out I need to lose 20lbs. T-W-E-N-T-Y. I'd really like to have a good start on that before the start of May so I've got to get cracking.
I'm using My Fitness Pal again, 1200 calories a day and having some fasting days thrown in. Today is one of those. 500 calories. It's going to be a long day. Needs must. This does mean that for the first week or so my meal plans will be less than inspirational until I get myself in gear. I always like to kick start with some M&S healthy ready meals as they're calorie-controlled and it helps me get my mind and tummy in the right zone! The meals listed here might not be ones I am actually eating, but ones the other members of the family might well be enjoying!
Cottage pie
Chicken korma and rice
Soup & baguettes (no bread for me, wahhhhhh)
Chicken caesar salad
Fishcakes & veggies
Macaroni cheese

ReplyDeleteGood Luck with the diet, I have lost 14 kilos now on the 5:2 diet with a few WW days thrown in too! My meal planner today has some 5:2 fast day recipe ideas too!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! 20lbs isn't too big a mountain to climb and a few good weeks will soon have you feeling much better. Although I must admit, I've tried and I can't cope with fast days!
