Mrs M's BIG Christmas 2013 Gift Guide - Gifts for Him

Welcome to the final edition of my Christmas 2013 Gift Guide - this time it's for the men in your life. You can check out the past gift guides by clicking on the following links - For Her, For Children, For Foodies.

1. How many people start the new year with plans to get fit? A lot! So a fitness-related gift is never a bad idea, especially if you know someone who likes being active. These yurbuds earphones would make a really good gift for the runner in your life. They've won a Gold Award in Running Magazine and they are designed to contour to the human ear so they are comfortable whilst providing premium sound quality. They are specifically designed for sport and are sweat proof, water resistant and importantly, they allow ambient noise such as passing cars to be heard - essential if you're off jogging! The earphones have an RRP of £50.00 and are available online stores such as Wiggle, Sweatshop and Runners Need.

2. Rehab London are a natural men's grooming brand based in London. Their products are designed specifically for male skin based around the incredible masculine healing qualities of Hawaiian water algae and the volcanic sands of Tahiti to produce fantastic grooming results. This year they have put together the ultimate Christmas shaving pack which contains three full-size products; Scrub Up Daily Detox, Men's Revive Survive and Cold Turkey Shaving Gel. The gift pack has an RRP of £24.99 and is available online and in all John Lewis stores.

3. For the man who likes his power tools AND likes to cook, how about the Bosch IXO Gourmet? This is the ultimate tool for gadget and culinary fanatics as its uses include uncorking wine bottles, dispensing salt and pepper from a spice mill and of course, assisting with all those important home refurbishments! It only weights 300g so is the perfect lightweight tool for small scale tasks. The IXO Gourmet is available from B&Q and Amazon and has an RRP of £59.99.

4. I'm a stationery-magpie and I haven't met a man yet that doesn't love a Post-It note so this fab little stocking filler idea caught my eye immediately. Perfect to keep on a desk at work or at home this Post-It Karate Pop-up Z-Notes Dispenser (RRP £9.39) is a great choice for fans of karate or just stationery!

5. If you've got a man in your life that appreciates a good tipple then check out The Whisky Shop and it's great range of products and gift ideas. I like the look of the Highland & Island Selection which is a set containing a selection of single malts inside an attractive modern snap shut gift box accompanied by two specially shaped malt blenders glasses. The gift box is priced £89.99 and you can find out more about it and the other gifts they have available on their website.

6. For the gadget-lover, how about the Griffin PowerDock 5. The PowerDock is a space-saving, desktop charging storage solution which can store up to five iPhones or iPads simultaneously. When the dock is not in use, it keeps all the different device cables tucked away safely until next use. Perfect for those households with an abundance of gadgets (like ours!). The Griffin PowerDock 5 retails at £74.99 and is available from the Apple Store.

7. Most men have a budding rockstar in them so if you have a keen guitarist in your house check out the fabulous Teadrop and Phantom Guitars. VOX have brought back two of its most unique guitar designs from the rock'n'roll years which were popularised by bands such as The Rolling Stones, The Hollies and The Ramones. Available in a variety of colours, they are ideal for almost everyone from students and entry-level players to more advance musicians who play either at home or for a living! The guitars retail at £347.99. Visit the VOX website for more information and stockists.

8. A unique Christmas gift for any athlete is The Runners Wall - a handy place to display all their medals from their fantastic achievements. Ranging from £28-£32 The Runner's Wall medal displays are manufactured in the UK, from precision cut 3mm brushed stainless steel. Due to the popularity of the displays they are constantly adding new designs to the line including displays for other sports such as swimming and even custom-made plaques for extra special events. Check out The Runner's Wall website for more information about the designs and how to order.

9. Who doesn't love a multi-tool? I know we have several types kicking around the house and there may well just be another one on it's way... The perfect gift for a man when you just don't know what else to get!  This Switch Customisable Multi-Tool is made from high quality stainless steel and comprises of a multicomponent pocket knife worth 18 removable add-ons including basic blade, LED flashlight, bottle opener, scissors, Phillips-Head screwdriver, tweezers, magnet and many other useful tools. The Switch Multi-Tool is available from Find Me A Gift where it is currently priced at £44.99.

10. "I like tequila, it makes me happy..." sang many a person the night before they work up with a banging head, but it's true I do like tequila and I think this premium PatrĂ³n Silver which is made using only the finest Weber Blue Agave plants grown in Mexico is a super-stylish gift. It's favouritred by many celebs and is produced with unparreleled attention to detail, in handcrafted glass bottles. It's available from Sainsburys in a handy 35cl half-size bottle with an RRP of £24.00

And that concludes my gift-guides for 2013! Thanks for reading.

  4. Vintage with a modern twist. I'll wear a pretty vintage colth dress with cowboy boots or a pair of jeans with a vintage jacket and pearls.
