Mrs M's BIG Christmas 2013 Gift Guide - Gifts for Her

Welcome to the third of my gift guides - this time FOR HER. So far I've covered gifts for children and food-related gifts.  I hope something here catches your eye!

1.  Frontcover Cosmetics sell make-up kits, including everything you need to get the latest look plus step-by-step instructions with each palette. There are two Frontcover collections - Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter and both are limited editions meaning that the ranges are kept fresh and current. My personal favourite from the new Autumn/Winter range is the New Style Queen palette (RRP £45.50) - a timeless collection that goes with everything but there are other great sets such as the Colours of the Catwalk - Metallics Collection which is great value with an RRP of £19.50. These sets make great gifts!  Frontcover Cosmetics are stocked exclusively in Sephora but you can also buy online through their own website and the make-up kits are also available through shopping channel QVC.

2. There's not many girlies out there who don't like to receive jewellery as a gift but it can be hard finding something that's both beautiful and unique. It's great to support independent, handmade and British so why not check out Oorla Jewellery. Oorla is a jewellery designer/maker based in Surrey  Oorla Jewellery specialises in high quality contemporary handmade silver and gemstone jewellery inspired by the colours, patterns and textures of the natural world.  I'm a big fan of her Sparrow Pendant and the pendant featured below is the "Small Hammered Disc Pendant with Amethyst" which is £70 and is packaged in a gorgeous white ribbed gift box.

3. Mia Tui are a British award-winning changing bag/handbag company who design stylish, practical bags for busy women! The Matilda Mae bag is a cross-body satchel with the unique Mia Tui interior - a pocket for the co-ordinating clutch bag, clips for keys, phone and pen holders and a handy zip pocket on the back of the bag. This bag can easily fit a full sized iPad or a Kindle/iPad Mini in the zip pocket. The bag was named after a special baby, Matilda Mae, the much loved and missed daughter of a fellow blogger and Mia Tui are supporting The Lullaby Trust by donating 10% of sales to the charity. The Matilda Mae is available in aubergine, black, red, sand and teal and is priced at £25.

4.  I have been fan of Spineless Classics for quite some time now, though I've not yet made a purchase. This is mainly because I can't decide which poster to buy! Spineless Classics sell posters with a unique concept - they feature the full text of a book. There's a large range of texts to choose from - definitely something for everyone so if you have a book-lover in your life this would make a really unique and different gift. Check out their website to see the full range!

5.  Have someone that loves their nails? How about the Belle Gel Starter Kit. The kit is an affordable at-home alternative for creating shiny and long lasting gel nails with a salon finish. It contains all of the necessary essentials and accessories to achieve professional looking gel nails at home, including a colour of your choosing from the current collection. The Belle Gel Starter Kit retails at £59.95 and is available through their website.

6. Okay, maybe it's slightly predictable but who doesn't love some gorgeous new underwear? Don't know about you but nice undies always make me feel better, even when I know that nobody else an see them! Check out the luxurious yet affordable lingerie from British brand Gossard. I love the new Egoboost Sequin plunge strapless bra (£48.00) and matching shorts (£22.00) but if you don't want to take the risk of getting wrong, Gossard also offer exclusive gift cards which come in £20 and £50 denominations. Check out the Gossard website for details of all their current ranges.

7. If like myself, the lady in your life finds her gadgets indispensable then how about popping a LifeProof case in her stocking? LifeProof cases deliver the highest level of water proof, shock proof and dirt proof protection so your iPhone or iPad is safe, even when dropped scratched or bumped. I partocularly love this as a solution of keeping your iPad clean in the kitchen - how many of us use our iPads as cookery books these days?! The LifeProof case is available for iPhone 5, iPhone4, iPad and iPad Mini.  Visit the LifeProof website for more information.

8. For the creative in your life, how about an extremely unique gift like a voucher for the London Jewellery School where they can go and create their own unique piece of jewellery. Prices start from just £50 for a taster course or for £130 they could take a full day class in anything from beading to silverwork, making a full collection of pieces to take away from them. The London Jewellery School is based in Hatton Garden and offers hundreds of different courses. Each class is friendly, informative and taught by an expert. The price includes all materials and light refreshments. Visit the London Jewellery School website for more information.

9. Bronnley use hand crafted methods to blend natures finest fragrant ingredients into enchanting toiletries that captivate your senses. Based on traditional Bronnley family recipes, they have been creating luxury soap and toiletries in the United Kingdom since 1884. Inspired by nature, they work to ensure a distinctive fragrant signature across all of their charming collections.  I love the RHS Natural Gardeners Therapy range and think that the wonderful exfoliating hand-wash and moisturising hand conditioner would make a fabulous festive treat for your any avid gardener. You can buy these products and many other gorgeous gifts via the Bronnley website.

10.  Mclaggan Smith Mugs are a family business established in 1974 and based in Scotland.  They have a great range of mugs, for every occasion including ones that are specifically designed for various members of the family.  I'm a little addicted to buying mugs for myself but I think a mug can be a great stocking filler, especially for those who perhaps use them at work too. I like to have a nice mug at my desk! Prices start from £9.00 for a standard 250ml china mug - all of which are screen printed and fired in the UK. Personalisation is also available. Go to the Mclaggan Smith Mugs website to see the full range.

That's it for this edition. Check back next week when I'll be sharing gift ideas for the men in your life!
