Secret Post Club - August

I am extremely late to this. Boy, the summer holidays just flew past and I'm still trying to catch up with myself.

Anyhow! I received my Secret Post Club gift a few weeks ago from the very lovely and very thoughtful
Helga Hansen (check out her fab blog!) who had noted that I had a birthday in August too and so had taken extra time and effort to make sure that I received something I would like.

Clever Helga looked back through my blog and must have found
this blog post where I chatted about some nice things as look what she bought me!

Not only did she buy me this lovely basket but she also sent me a really nice card and some of these chocolates.

Yes, that is a picture of an empty box and one solitary chocolate. Oops. I'd never tried these chocolates before but oh my word, they are amazing. Once you get into the middle it's like gooey liquid chocolate! Mr M made me share with him, but he only got one!

Thank you Helga Hansen, I love my gifts! (and I apologise greatly for taking so long to put this up here!). There won't be a September post from me as I forgot to sign up this month. Doh!

love & kisses
Mrs M x

  1. I love the basket but those chocs are AMAZING! My favourite by far! If you are a tennis fan, or even just appreciate a bit of eye candy as well as the edible kind, check out this great ad:

  5. I'm so pleased you like the basket - I was determined to get you something you wanted, and as you own nearly every recipe book going ;^) I thought I'd have to approach it from a different angle!! :D

The chocolates are too divine, and if I was only ever allowed to pick one chocolate, it would be the Lindt balls. I generally only buy them at Christmas, and they do come in other "flavours", so make sure you give them ALL a try! :)

PS. Hope you had a lovely birthday x
