Meal Planning Monday (10th June 2013)

No weather moans from me this week. It's been delicious hasn't it? BBQ central here - I'm making the most of it, you never know when it might disappear again. Saying that, the children have sports day at school this week and that always brings rain so I'm expect by Wednesday summer will be long gone...

Last week I had intended to diet a little bit. It didn't really go to plan, although I do think I cut back my eating a bit. I had to have fish'n'chips last week, I was craving them so decided it was best to give in and let myself have them rather torture myself over them!

This week is the first one in a while that is relatively quiet for me, thank heavens - sometimes I just need some downtime! We've still got the after school activities that necessitate quick teas some nights but that's all. Here's how my plan looks.

Thin-cut steaks, salad and Jersey royals
Fishcakes, poached egg and salad
Buffalo chicken quesadillas
Chicken caesar salad
Honey BBQ chicken sandwiches
Bang Bang Prawns

Handing over to you guys - tell me, what are you planning this week? Have you had the BBQ out this week?

If you are a new to my blog or the wonder that is #mealplanningmonday, the idea is pretty darned simple. All you have to do is write a blog post about your meal plan for the week and submit the URL of your post using the Linkytools below. If you've not got a blog but want to join in with the meal-planning fun, then that's perfectly fine of course - just leave a comment below telling us what you're planning this week.  Any questions, you can catch me via email (in the contact page) or on Twitter @madamding.  I like messages so don't worry about bothering me!

The Link Party for June is now up and running with only two entries so far -  remember to add your makes and bakes to the blog post which you can find here.

Have a tip-top week dear friends!

Mmm Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwiches sound lovely and love quesadillas. We had a BBQ at a local park near us on Sunday..we remembered the meat, the disposable BBQ, matches and buns but no tools to turn it all with and no sauce... It was rather impromptu but better planning next time! Unfortunately for now the rain has appeared so summer has gone :(
