Hello! I'm a little bit later than I would have liked this month getting the new Link Party up but it's down to illness and general loss of blogging mojo due to said illness.
The beginning of the month always signals that start on the new recipe link party and the time to showcase some of my favourites from all the submissions during the previous month. (If you're new to the link party, each month I offer a chance to link up a recipe from your blog and share it with others. At the beginning of each month I pop up a new post, new linky and showcase my favs).
There were lots of lovely submissions this month, I enjoyed looking through them all and definitely got some inspiration. The three blog posts that stood out for me during April are coming up below!
First up are the luscious sounding Whisky and Stem Ginger Brownies from The WW Foodie blog. Whisky isn't normally my thing but the sound of these coupled with the stem ginger sounds quite irresistible to me!

Next are the hot cross buns from The Sapphire Ridge Chronicles. Hot cross buns are something I've never made but always wanted to try, however they always seem quite labour intensive and I've shied away from it. I'm in awe of people who make them from scratch!

And finally, another recipe from the wonderful Mamacook, a wholemeal pizza with hidden veggies. My children love pizza so this would be perfect for them and whilst I don't struggle to get them to eat vegetables its always good to sneak a few more into them when they're not looking!

Another three very different recipes. Please do check out the rest of the April submissions by clicking here.
The May Link Party has now opened so get submitting your recipes. I'm hoping the weather will perk up and I'll soon see some stonking summer offerings from the UK contingent. Right now I'm still craving winter carbs though.
The non-rules...
You can submit as many recipes as like.
You don't have to write a specific post for the link party.
Make sure you link to the post, not your homepage.
Grab the badge above if you like and stick it on your blog.
Put the badge or text-link to the link party in your recipe post if you want to.
I'd appreciate it and it all helps to spread the word and get others involved.
Please try to visit a couple of the blogs that link up.
I will attempt to visit & comment on all that I can.
You can start submitting your recipes now (the linky will close on 31st May) and at the beginning of June, I'll be starting the party all over again and showcasing my favourite submissions.
Any questions, do drop me an email - you can find my details on the contact page of my blog. As you can see I've used pictures from the original blogs - if anyone has a problem with me doing this, please do let me know bu I will always credit and link to your blog.
Thank you for featuring one of my recipes! I have to say the pizza was fantastic if I do say so myself. Now I'm trying sourdough...
ReplyDeleteI've linked up two recipes; a stuffed mushroom recipe you might not think of feeding to kids (but adults love it too) and a sugar free mini muffin recipe with dates and ginger which, if I don't say myself is blooming fantastic!
Thanks for the mention! And they are absolutely top brownies :)

ReplyDeleteHowdy! This post could not be written any better! Reading through this post reminds
