Meal Planning Monday (7th May 2012)

Sorry, sorry, sorry. I realise I am hideously late this week but it is Bank Holiday Monday and I decided to torture myself (and bankrupt myself) by taking the children to the cinema this morning. Forgiven? I think that was penance enough, don't you?

We've almost recovered from our various illnesses but we're still not quite there with eating properly yet, takes a while I think. Coupled with that, this week is quite a busy one, especially in the evenings so the meals have to be quick and easy.  With this in mind I'm turning to recipes I have tried before and takeaways! I make no apologies. It's shaping up like this so far.
Soup and crusty bread
Tagliatelle Alle Cipolle
Cajun Chicken Burgers
Nachos (perhaps with chicken, or some other added meat)
Chippy night!

Soup will be my favourite Mexican Chipotle Chicken from New Covent Garden. I can't get enough of this but alas I can only ever find it at Waitrose so as I don't shop there every week I don't get to eat as much of it as I'd like!

Chippy night is for Mr M and the children - I'm going out with a friend to the cinema and we shall be having copious amounts of spicy chicken and Peri Peri chips at Nandos.

So there it is, not very adventurous I'm afraid but completely functional for what is a bit of a manic week. The Linky is below so please add your meal plans. If you've not joined in before, all you have to do is write a meal planning blog post, grab the image above and link up!

Hope you all have a good week.
