Blog Love (9th January 2014)

I didn't really expect to be back with another Blog Love post so soon, especially when I only posted one last week but I am really into blog reading at the moment and keep seeing posts I want to share so I thought why the Dickens not. Here's some of the gems I've found in my recent foray into the world of blogging.

Anyone having a dry January? Over at Wine & Olives, Chiara is and is asking if anyone else is joining her. I am kind of, not completely dry but drier than most months!

It's no secret I'm a bit of a Henry VIII fan and yesterday on her new-look blog Madame Guillotine shared a post about my favourite of his six wives, Catherine of Aragon. Well worth a read if you like a bit of history.

Over on Stressy Mummy we're being asked "Did you ever think your life would be like this?". The answer to that question is a big fat NO!

From one chicken-lover to another, Kev at An English Homestead would like to know your tips for stopping a hen eating her own eggs. It can be quite a tricky problem!

How delicious does this Skinny Taco Salad from Gimme Some Oven look?  It looks so fresh and clean I just want to eat it up!

Very topical for me at the moment as I've mentioned my own holiday planning, the Disney Food Blog is asking what your favourite restaurant in each Walt Disney World Park is. There's too many I like, it's too hard to pick!

And whilst Florida planning is still on my mind  Life, Ninja Killer Cat and Everything Else shares The Ultimate Orlando Holiday Planner - full of useful tips for planning your holiday.

As mentioned before, I love London and looking for great places to shop and eat, so I loved this food tour from Glamorous Glutton.

Why would you want to roast a pound of butter? I don't know and seemingly neither does Ivan Day but he's going to have a good go!

There's nothing more I love than having a good nose at what other people get up to so I really enjoyed this trip though Foodie Quine's Christmas eats. Not good for the post-Christmas purge!
