Blog Love (2nd January 2014)

Blog Love was a concept that was originally on one of my favourite blogs You Big Eejit. Sadly Lauren decided not to blog anymore but she did give me permission to steal the idea. I had plans to do it more often than I have (erm, last one was July!) so will try harder this year.   The aim is to share posts with you guys that I myself have enjoyed recently - I hope you like these posts, you never know you might find some new blogs to read!

I'm a regular reader of Vintage Vixen and this post about about doing Christmas her way sums everything I love about Vix. Who cares about sticking to tradition and being conventional? Vix doesn't!

I just caught a glimpse of this Spicy Sausage Pasta on The English Kitchen and knew that it was something I would have to try. Looks delicious!

One thing that keeps me busy all winter is feeding our local bird community. We have an abundance of different types of birds visiting our garden so I'm definitely going to have a go at these bird seed feeders from Emma at Bradshaw & Sons.

My dream job in life would be to be a food historian as it combines two of my big loves - food & history. I found this post on Food History Jottings about dressing scenes for Death Comes to Pemberley a great insight to behind the scenes action.

Suffolk is my home from home, it's a wonderful place and whilst I'd like to keep it all to myself, this post from Pommie Travels details 10 fun things to do in Suffolk. Of course there are many many more!

I love a wedding, and I love hearing about music so I very much enjoyed reading this post from Abigail and the Future about the music that was the soundtrack to their wedding. Plus the jelly shoes are pretty damn awesome.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken from The Recipe Critic. What's not to love? Teriyaki is probably one of my favourite flavourings and the fact that is baked rather than deep fried makes me really want to try this one.

I adore shopping and London and seeking out great places to find interesting foods is a pasttime on her blog post Ms Marmite Lover tells us her top ten places for food shopping in the big smoke.

Planning holidays, booking holidays or even just talking about holidays is one of my favourite things to do so I enjoyed this post from Emm in London where she talks about her travel plans for 2014. Makes me quite jealous!

Last but not least, What Peggy Said visits one of my favourite London tourist attractions, the Tower of London. Her pictures make me want to go back immediately!

That's all for now. Hope you find something good to have a look at here, and let me know if you've read any blogs recently that I should take a look at!
