Meal Planning Monday (7th October 2013)

Good morning campers!  How are we on this grismal October morning? Hope you all had a good weekend (which actually was rather glorious, so it's not all bad!).

I'm firmly back into meal planning now and finding new things to cook. I'm actually quite excited about getting my teeth (literally!) into some new recipes this week. The busy last term, hectic summer holidays and chaotic return to school in September coupled with a lingering cold kind of took it's toll but I have a list of "things to try" as long as my arm and as the nights draw in I plan to spend more time in my kitchen, especially as it's the warmest place in the house when the oven's on!

This is what my plan looks like this week;

Prawn saganaki
Wild mushroom risotto
Tomato & goats cheese pasta
Jamie Oliver Fajitas
Sausage'n'Mash
Honey sesame chicken

Not going to lie, I'm looking forward to eating all of that!

Once again, it's your turn! What are you planning this week? Are you back in the swing of meal planning?

If you' are a newcomer to my blog or #mealplanningmonday, the idea is pretty simple. Write a blog post about your meal plan for the week and submit the URL of your post using the Linkytools below. If you've not got a blog but want to join in, then that's perfectly fine - just leave a comment below telling us what you're planning this week.  Any questions, you can catch me via email (in the contact page) or on Twitter @madamding.  I like messages so don't worry about bothering me!

Remember to use the hashtag #mealplanningmonday on Twitter as I'll be retweeting throughout the week. In other news - if you're on Facebook, I've just set up a group for Meal Planning Monday you can find it here. Designed to carry on the meal planning chat, I've not added anyone to it (other than Kate, sorry!) but please do join!

On a final note, I was recent sent a copy of Woman and Home's new magazine "Feel Food Food - Eating Smart". I've bought a few copies of their food magazines in the past, namely festive editions, but this one differs in that is jam-packed with over 101 recipes and ideas of how to eat well even if you are restricted by diet and covers recipes that are gluten free, for diabetics, sufferers of IBS, low cholesterol recipes and also recipes for people who are lactose intolerant. It's certainly a magazine with a difference! Worth checking out if you're into eating a bit smarter, healthier and if you or your family have additional dietary or nutritional needs.

Right, after all that waffle - have a great week!
