Meal Planning Monday (21st October 2013)

Good morning!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It flies by doesn't it? Mine was relatively quiet but busy, I seemed to spend a lot of it in the kitchen making cake. Never a bad thing though hey!

We had a great response to the #mealplanningmonday group on Facebook and now have 54 members! If you haven't checked it out, you can find it here. Everyone is welcome - even if you're not a current meal planner or you don't have a blog. It's just a place to chat about meal planning and perhaps get some inspiration.

And then there is the new Pinterest board - since last week I've got a few more collaborators pinning their fav meals.

We've now got over 500 followers on this board so if you want to be a part and want to share your favourite family meals, then let me know.  You'll need to be following me on Pinterest so that I can add you.

Okay, so on to the actual meal planning. I'm really into cooking at the moment, I've proper got my mojo going on and this week looks like this;

Spaghetti bolognese
Sausage casserole
Spicy prawn pilau
Green chilli
Pulled pork baps
Soup and baguettes

I don't know what soup I am going to make yet, but it will definitely be homemade - I'm going to dust off my soup-maker for the first use of the season!

Okay, your turn now! Let's see your meal plans. The Linky is below so getting linking your #mealplanningmonday post now!

If this is the first time you've stumbled across my blog and you're new to the #mealplanningmonday concept, then the idea is simple - all you have to do is write a blog post about your meal  plan for the week and submit the URL of your post using the Linkytools below. If you've not got a blog but want to join in, that's fine too - just leave a comment below telling us what you're planning this week.  Any questions, just holler at me via email (in the contact page) or on Twitter @madamding.

On a final note, I'm currently struggling with my broadband connection (story of my life!) so if I'm a bit quite on Facebook or Twitter, there's a good chance I just can't get on!

Until next week...
