Meal Planning Monday (21st May 2011)

Thanks to all those who joined in last week - we had nine people sharing their menus for the week which is the most since I started doing this.

I'm almost embarrassed to do this post today as I am going to have to admit what a big fat failure I am!  Whilst I have been meal planning every week, I've not exactly been sticking to it. I've tried, but there has just been so much stuff going on in the evenings, I've got all out of synch.  Anyhow, I am going to try really hard to stick to the plan this week as I have fallen behind with my taste team challenges and need to get them up on the blog ASAP.

Week commencing 21st May 2011

Ayam percik with stir-fried noodles and beansprouts
Tom yum fried rice
Spaghetti puttanesca
Buffalo chicken nachos
Roast chicken & trimmings

I am out with friends one night to Jamie's Italian and Mr M will have beans on toast or another fine delicacy...and one night Mr M & I will go somewhere that can supply me with breaded mozzarella as I am having the biggest craving right now! (and no, I am not in the pudding club).

Lets see if I can stick with the plan, huh?

Your turn - use the Linky below to link to your own blog posts. I look forward to reading them!

love & kisses

  1. Your planner sounds lovely! I decided not to worry about what I would be having each day, as its good to move things around a bit!

  2. I too am finding it much easier to write about meal planning than I am to actually follow through with it. I don't think there's any harm in saying that life gets in the way sometimes...and at least if you have a vague plan in place you've always got something to fall back on!

Mmmmm, can't remember the last time I had breaded mozzarella....
