Hey shorty, it's your birthday

Actually if we're being correct it's MY birthday. Whoop whoop. Yes, today I reach the grand old age of 34. 

A birthday always leads to me thinking about those big life questions;

What am I doing with my life?

What have I achieved?

What do I want from the future?

Even at 34 I'm still no closer to discovering the answers. I guess I never will, as they're hard questions to tackle so instead I am trying to reconcile myself with the fact that this is life and I need to stop pondering over it so much and just get on with living it.  

Bit deep for this early on a Saturday morning huh?

Anyway today I am ignoring those questions that buzz around in my head and the fact that I'm one step closer to 35 - an age which seems impossibly close to 40, I swear ten minutes ago I was 20 - and I'm going out to enjoy a day of birthday celebrations with my family.
