Who is reading my blog?

I saw this idea on Emmys Mummy blog and it struck me that really I don't know a whole lot about the people who read my blog.

I started this here blog back in 2009 but had been blogging under various guises since about 2005. I've been a pregnancy blogger, a wedding blogger, a home shopping blogger and a dedicated food blogger but none of them really suited me and what you see today is the result of all of those - a complete mish-mash of the things that make up my life!  I've blogged before about not being a niche blogger and whilst I enjoy the freedom of being completely random with my blogging I do feel that it probably costs me readers.  I never get very many comments on my blog but I know that people are reading it from my stats, so come out from lurking and tell me a bit about yourself and your interests.

Are you a man or a woman?
Are you a parent?
Where do you come from?

I want to know all of this stuff!

Is there something you'd like to see more of on my blog?

If you have your own blog or are on Twitter, let me know so that I can follow you or add you to Bloglovin'.

Do you have anything you'd like to ask me or have a burning desire to share something about yourself?

I'd love to hear all your random thoughts but mostly I'd just love to find out who my readers are and perhaps get to know you a bit better.   So if you read this blog post leave me a comment, it only takes a second (once you get past the Disqus thing, I know it's annoying) - today it's all about you!

Look forward to hearing from you!

  1. Meeeeee! I am 38 and a single mum of four young children - two boys and two girls. I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher but at the mo, I am a full time stay at home mum!
I love your blog the way it is - with product reviews, reviews of places you have visited, recipe ideas, giveaways and just your 'everyday jimble rambles' - which are really quite interesting to read and I can very often relate too - I wouldn't change a thing! You deserve a pat on the back honey for your efforts! Well done :)

  3. Female, mum of 5, from Kent. I only recently found your blog, but I already love it because you blog regularly and I like the regular features like Meal Planning Monday. Your blog is a good source of inspiration for a very new blogger, like me. I couldn't decide on one particular thing to blog about and so decided on the trio of baking, sewing and thrifting. I always like to see blogging advice on how to save money with the weekly food shop, the bane of my life!

  4. Oops, forgot to say that I see you are a creative writer from your twitter profile. I am a Nanowrimo virgin and not been brave enough to take part yet. So, how to write and manage being a mum would be interesting too.

  5. PS I love your Bucket List and you inspired me to create one of my own! You blog is so easy to navigate too (like your reviews are categorised). I would love some money saving tips, or creative ideas to do with the kids on rainy days. I'm sure many of your followers would contribute too!

Hello! I'm Emma from www.notsuchayummymummy.wordpress.com. I'm the same as you on that I blog (when I get round to it anyway) about parenting, food, fashion, my current pregnancy & occasionally zombies. When I get my act together I join in with meal planning Monday but even when I don't blog I always read yours & get inspiration from your recipes and those who link up. Pregnancy has taken it's toll though & my poor blog has been neglected so I don't expect a follow. I just can't resist an invite to comment! Sorry to lurk so much. :)

I'm a mum of two and a sucker for volunteering. I came to your blog through Baking Aitch's MPM tweets. I'm on bloglovin', twitter, pinterest and instagram but never FB, all under the name Craftyguider. Like you I'm a miscellaneous blogger and trying to find the time to build it up. I live in Herts.

    Pleased to meet you!

  19. Hello! I'm female, 34 and quite a long way off being a
parent given I haven't even managed to get my boyfriend to move in with me yet! But I hope we'll be able to get married and start a family before it's too late.... I'm originally from Salisbury but now live in Surrey so I can commute to work in London, I have a "City job" so baking and blogging is my
creative outlet (as well as singing in a choir). I'm also slightly obsessed with alpacas.
