Meal Planning Monday (3rd December 2012)

December! Eeeeeek!

Anyone else as excited as me? I'm so late on my Christmas food planning this year so may sit down with the cookbooks tonight although in every other respect I am uber-organised - everything bought, presents wrapped, parcels sent where they need to be posted, cards written - even some posted. Woo. I just cannot wait!

This weeks marks the start of my Christmas festivities. Well actually last weekend did but we had to cancel our night out with Mr M's friends as a couple of them have had a bit of trauma recently and needed to pull out. I also spent 6 hours at the school Christmas fair on Saturday, quaffing the mulled wine whilst busily selling books!  This week I have an evening round a friends house (we were meant to be going out for a Christmas meal but her husbands work commitments have put paid to that!) and a big festive meal out with my old NCT group.  The rest of the week looks like this...

Pulled pork baps, coleslaw and fries
Pizza (it's not a good week without a pizza).
Roasted vegetables with a side of spicy prawns
Spaghetti bolognese
Chicken kiev, new potatoes and salad.

The Linky for this week is below so do join in and add your #mealplanningmonday blog posts. If you're new to #mealplanningmonday and are not sure what's going on, just ask, but it's pretty simple - write a blog post and tell us what you're eating this week, leave the link below. If you don't have a blog, just leave a comment.

Look forward to reading your posts, I'm hoping there's going to be lots of Christmas fun in there!

  1. The best thing about Christmas is the food, and I start cooking Christmas baked goods and savoury sides (preparation for the big day!) from the start of December. Love it!
