Meal Planning Monday (17th September 2012)

Hello, Monday again!

Wow. We just about survived our first full week back at school and work, mixing in after school activities and play dates. One thing became apparent - evening meals are going to have to get quicker and easier!

In the end we didn't eat out for our anniversary at the weekend as I've just felt tired this week and couldn't face going out again - we'll do it in a few weeks when we've settled back into routine, this weekend I just wanted to be at home.

Spending time at home has enabled me to get organised though and I've got a grocery shop being delivered this morning for the first time in months and I'm all ready with my meal plan! Here is what we have planned for the week!

Soup and baguettes
Coconut prawn curry
Spaghetti bolognese with meatballs

A mixture of the healthy and not so healthy there! Soup is New Covent Garden Mexican Chilli Chicken - my absolute favourite soup in the world and the coconut prawn curry is from the Hairy Bikers Hairy Dieters book.  I'd like to pretend I am making the meatballs. In reality, they're Ikea's finest...

So what have you got planned this week? The weather has certainly turned a bit hasn't it? Is the heating on yet? I'm looking forward to some casseroles soon! The Linky is below so get submitting your blog posts. Don't forget to keep spreading the word about #mealplanningmonday and if you get chance, please check out thSeptember recipe link party - would love to get some more submissions going before the end of the month.
