You might have seen me mention on Twitter a month or so ago that I had been setting up a new blog and was having some minor Wordpress-stress (!) well here it is. Nothing revolutionary I'm afraid but something I just felt like doing!
Notes From Britain is somewhere I am going to write about Beautiful Britain - the places, people, instituions...whatever takes my fancy really and I hope that some of you might find it interesting. It's a blog that allows me to be creative and I'm doing it just for my own pleasure which hopefully means I don't need to worry about statistics, page rank, no-follow etc as I've been finding recently that all the discussion around blogging has been sucking the fun out of actually doing it. My new blog has no commitments, it will be updated as and when, hopefully at least once or twice a week.
I realise anything on the new site could have been used on this one but I feel it fits better on a new platform so please do join me over there. You can follow the new blog on Twitter and Facebook as well - links are on the blog.
Clearly this blog will continue at the same rate - this is an extra blog (like I need more stuff to do...) rather than a replacement.
I hope you like the new blog, I'm a bit nervous about putting it out there so comments and feedback would be welcome!
What a lovely idea! I shall be following with interest. Glad it's not me that's a bit weary of all the blog-related discussion that's been going on recently. I just want to cook and write without endlessly worrying that I'm doing something wrong!
