Happy Feet 2

Warner Bros recently sent us one of their lovely parcels to celebrate the release of Happy Feet 2 on DVD. I love it when the postman knocks at the door with a Warner Bros delivery as they're always so well packaged. They must know me so well as I am so fickle. If it's in a pretty box or wrapping, I am won over. Yes, it's that easy to please me.

I was excited to open the bright yellow and floral gift box (which is now residing in my nook until I can decide what to store in it, it's way too pretty to throw away) and on opening it this is what I found.

A jam-packed box. Not only did they send the DVD of Happy Feet 2 but also a 2 disc set of Happy Feet and The March of the Penguins (which I will just add is incredible) and an array of Happy Feet goodies that included temporary tattoos, magnets and a hat. There was also a pencil and some Happy Feet post-it notes but they may have not reached the children. (I'm a stationery hoarder, so what of it?).

Already a fan of the gloriously cute Happy Feet, my little boy was desperate to watch Happy Feet 2 and I'm pleased to say he loved this one as much as the first. Mumble and Gloria are now all grown up and parents to little Erik. It's as touching and feel-good as the first one and my children absolutely love the music and dancing in the film. The graphics are also pretty awesome. It's entertaining for the whole family and a great film for our "Family Film Nights" which we try to have once a month on a Saturday complete with piles of popcorn and chocolate - all in our PJ's of course.

Happy Feet 2 is the perfect family film which will reside most happily in our DVD collection and no doubt be watched again and again - it was watched twice in the first two days we had it!

With thanks to Warner Bros.
