I rarely join in with the Listography Linky at Kate Takes 5. I often think about it but never get around to it. Well this week I am getting round to it because it's about mugs and I love mugs.
Some might find it strange taking photos of their mugs, but not me. No, this is the kind of thing I enjoying doing. Aha, I'm the strange one!
Alas, my mug collection is not very varied as they are all Emma Bridgewater half-pint mugs. There's no dodgy mug-skeletons in my closet. I thought I'd just share a couple of my favourites with you.
The "Will & Kate" wedding mug (nobody is allowed to use this one).
The Country Living Magazine 25th Birthday mug.
The Country Living Magazine 25th Birthday mug.
Yes, I am slightly patriotic in my mug choices.
The 2011 Christmas mug, still in regular use as it doesn't scream Christmas.
There you have it. Wonder what my mug's say about me? Over-sentimental, patriotic woman who likes to buy over-priced pottery?
Do check out other peoples entries at Kate Takes 5.
What a beautiful collection you have. I'm particularly envious of the union jack one. Very smart.
ReplyDeleteOo that's a posh collection! All lovely - can see why you'd be partial to taking photos of them!
ReplyDeleteI love your mugs but how do you drink half a pint of coffee or tea?
ReplyDeleteVery envious of your mugs!!! I was hoping to sneek one home from a local shop until my husband walked past and went "blo**dy hell have you seen the price of them!!" - erm so I put it back - lol xx
ReplyDelete@Midlife Singlemum - 1/2 pint isn't really as much as you think...plus I love tea!
ReplyDelete@Ali - Ha, yes, I try to keep the price a secret but am not always successful!
I have a friend who also has a collection of Emma Bridgewater half-pint mugs which I am extremely envious of. These are beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteThey're all beautiful. A lovely collection. Mine is rather dull in comparison!
ReplyDeleteI have a few Emma Bridgewater mugs myself, but none of the ones you've pictured! They are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOoo you have wonderful mugs too - mine seem quite crappy in comparison...I can see myself going out and buying new ones....lol
ReplyDeleteLou :-)

ReplyDeleteTotally gorgeous, especially the love one.
ReplyDeleteHow much to I envy you that Country Living Magazine one? Great collection! I love Emma Bridewater.
ReplyDeleteI think you win the most stylish mug competition, should we ever run one! They are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThey are very 'you'. That is the best Royal Wedding mug I've seen I think. Love it
