Gardening: Progress Report No 2

Further to my previous progress report, I thought I'd do a quick update. Not much has happened since my last post - the hollyhocks, dwarf hollyhocks, ornamental cabbages and carnations are all continuing to grow nicely and are probably getting to the point now where I need to do something with them. Outdoors no progress has been made due to the combination of my leg being out of action plus the terrible weather! Too much rain is turning it all a bit boggy so I've decided to wait a couple of weeks before I commence outdoor planting.

The biggest news is the chillis. Yes I kept the faith and the chillis are beginning to sprout.

Okay, so they are still very small but look - they are there. I'd be running in and out of the conservatory twice a day in the hope of seeing a happy little seedling staring up at me and finally I was rewarded. This of course does not mean that they will result in successful chillis. I fear that my chilli seedlings and I have a long road to travel together.

love & kisses
