Golden Globes 2010

I'm a little late on this but I thought I'd add my tuppence worth. Let me start by saying I am certainly no fashion guru so I don't expect anybody to agree with my likes and dislikes! This is just my personal opinion.

I am going to start with my absolute winner for the night. Wow. Love everything about this, especially the hair. Christina Aguilera looks amazing. She is seriously beautiful here.

Hits

Kate Winslet. Okay, I can't bear the woman but she looks amazing. There I said it.

Carey Mulligan. I'm not even sure who this girl is to be quite honest but I love her cute look.

Nicole Kidman. Nicole has the grace and elegant of old time Hollywood stars, but she does look like she needs a decent bacon sarnie down her neck.

Courtney Cox looked glamourous and elegant. Just what I'd like to look like when I am a grown up.

Lea Michele. No doubt I am on my own here but I think she looks great, and I think this dress is stunning.

Emily Blunt. Normally a girl I love to hate, I have to admit she looks stunning in this dress.

Lindsey Lohan. Again, another one where people will probably think I've gone a little loco but I think Lindsey looks fabulous here!

Jennifer Aniston. Wow. If I look that good at 40 (is she really 40?) I will be a happy lady. Then again if I looked that good now I would be a happy lady.

Drew Barrymore. Dress was a bit weird in places but she still looked beautiful.

Olivia Wilde. Very flattering dress, she looked great!

Fergie. I am a big fan of the BEP's and I love that Fergie manages to look very ladylike here. Shame about the face really. What did she do to herself?

Toni Collette. I love this dress! I think she looks just beautiful here.

Heidi Klum. I love her, I do. I *almost* dislike this dress but she's worthy of a "Hit" because she's so goddamn gorgeous.

Misses

Ashley Olson. Okay, it's probably not that bad but she could do better.

Cameron Diaz. Cameron normally looks stunning but I just don't think this dress does her any favours at all.

Anna Paquin. She just looks uncomfortable, well, I guess you would be too if your upper body and lower body were facing in totally different directions. She doesn't suit being a blonde and she's the reason why I am unable to watch True Blood.

Ashley Tisdale. A case of lamb dressing like mutton crossed with Pocahontas?

Kate Hudson. I don't know why you would to an awards do dressed in bridal couture, she obviously thought it was a good plan.

Sandra Bullock. She's going down as a "Miss" even though I think she looks amazingly beautiful. Dressing as a giant Quality Street is never a good look.

Mariah Carey. This woman becomes more and more like a caricature of herself everytime I see her.

Chloe Sevigny. The dress is horrid but aside from that why is this woman unable to look happy? I'm sure it's just part of an act that she thinks is charming. I think it just makes her look a twat.

Vanessa Hudgens. She's a pretty girl but this outfit just looks cheap, cheap, cheap.

Julianne Moore. What. Were. You. Thinking.

and finally, I am undecided on Christina Hendricks. She's certainly got a fair bit of va-va-voom and generally people appear to think she looks great however I'm on the fence on this one. I think the colour of the dress is a little bit ming-tastic and her ample jubblies make it look like she's wearing a dress a size too small for her. Love the colour of her hair though.

and there it is, my rundown for the Golden Globes 2010. Can't wait for the Oscars!

love & kisses

PS Why would you? I mean you would think about shaving your legs before you went to the Golden Globes wouldn't you? Or at least, perhaps not lift your dress to show everyone?

  2. I thought the dresses were prettier than usual and looks like ruffles were on all the designers minds. Beautiful women.

  3. There was a lot of ruffles wasn't there? It's all good though, I am a big fan of ruffles.
