Organising my notebooks

I recently read a post somewhere in the blogosphere (I should pay more attention) about customising notebooks and I liked the idea of making them a bit more cheery and personal.

I've talked about it before but I am a serial-lister, I could make lists all day long and I have dozens of notebooks lying around. I'm constantly playing favourites, switching from one to another and I have a terrible habit of buying new ones when I'm feeling all disorganised. It's like a new notebook focuses me. I can't be alone in that thought can I?

I reached this stage last week. A big disorganised stressy mess. Too many projects on the go and too much to thing about. Piles of paper everywhere. After reading that blog post I decided to take charge and get listing again, in my own pretty notebook. We're going to ignore the fact that actually in the time it took to put together my notebook I could have crossed at least three things-to-do off my list. Procrastination rules!

I took a regular plain notebook, some washi tape, made some labels on my computer and printed a nice free printable I found via Pinterest and prettied up my notebook, dividing into relevant sections for my lists. Ta-dah!

I'm feeling more motivated already. Amazing what a new notebook can do for you.

My lovely Washi-divided sections.

I've already set it hard at work and those lovely blank pages are now filled with things I need to do in the next week or so. Having lists really keeps me focussed on the tasks I need to complete and when my mind is being all scatty and feeling overloaded, writing stuff down seems to alleviate the stress.

I'm quite in love with this notebook now so I'm hoping I'll stick with it - I'm so flighty!

Thank you Mrs M. for your informative review. I shall be traveling here later this month with wife a two children 4 and 1 yrs. Think we may avoid Son Saura beach and hire a car instead for our own excursions.
    Regards Mr M.
