Fun in the sun at Camp Bestival...

....or at least that is what I am hoping for this year and once again we are heading to the fun-filled family festival in Dorset with our children, and lets be honest, a bit of sunshine is what is needed on these occasions!

We last went to Camp Bestival in 2012, unfortunately we couldn't make it last year as our holiday to Italy clashed but this year we're looking forward to experiencing festival life once again, especially now the children are a little bit older.  You can read about our first and only visit to Camp Bestival here and here

What did I enjoy most about Camp Bestival? Well it helped that it was gloriously sunny when we went and there's never anything unpleasant about sitting in the sunshine with a Pimms is there? but apart from that, it was great to be able to introduce my children to new things in a family friendly setting - live music, different foods (I thought there was a wonderful selection of catering trucks!), theatre craft, arts, comedy and also the best WI tent I have ever come across - amazing cake, I hope they still have that tent there!

Camp Bestival has a great chilled out vibe and seems to appeal to families with children of all ages, there is literally something for everyone there. Check out the family fun available in this video from last years events.

There's so much to see and do, they'll never be a bored minute - it's just trying to fit it all in! Check out the Camp Bestival website for more info.
