Mrs M's Recipe Link Party (Apr '13)

So I know I am a week late with the new Recipe Link Party but Easter and school holidays have meant all routine has gone out of the window! Still, I am here now.

Thank you to everyone who joined in linking their recipes up last month. It was a relatively quiet month  and I really need to try harder to get the word out about the link-up but thanks to those that have.  I really enjoy seeing what you've been cooking and hope that other people find some inspiration from your blogs too.

This month I've picked three things I like the sound of and would like to give a go so without further ado...

First up is these gorgeous Passionfruit Melting Moments from The Olive Dragonfly blog.  Melting Moments are a bit of a favourite in this house as Mr M's grandma used to make them often but I've never considered a passionfruit filling before. These look perfect don't they?

I really love ginger, in any form really. In a biscuit, cake, stirfry, glass of ginger ale - any way is fine with me so these Dark Chocolate and Ginger Flapjacks from Foodie Quine immediately caught my eye.  I can imagine that the bitterness of dark chocolate works really well with the warmth of the ginger. Yum!

And last but certainly not least, these yummy sounding Spinach and Mushroom Fritattas from Wonder Woman I'm Not. I'm having a real love affair with spinach at the moment and actually anything veggie so I'm going to definitely give these a go and I adore the idea of making mini ones in bun tins - they'd be perfect for taking out on a picnic.

There were lots of other fab submissions so don't forget to check out the rest of the March recipes by clicking here

The April Link Party has now opened so get submitting your recipes. You've got all month to add as many as you like.

The non-rules...

You can submit as many recipes as like.
You don't have to write a specific post for the link party.
Make sure you link to the post, not your homepage.

Grab the badge above if you like and stick it on your blog.
Put the badge or text-link to the link party in your recipe post if you want to.
I'd appreciate it and it all helps to spread the word and get others involved.

Please try to visit a couple of the blogs that link up.
I will attempt to visit & comment on all that I can.

You can start submitting your recipes now (the linky will close on 30th April) and at the beginning of May, I'll be starting the party all over again and  showcasing my favourite submissions.

Any questions, do drop me an email - you can find my details on the contact page of my blog.  As you can see I've used pictures from the original blogs - if anyone has a problem with me doing this, please do let me know bu I will always credit and link to your blog.

Thanks to all who joined us last month and I'm hoping for a bumper crop of recipes in April - lets hope for some warmer weather and picnic and BBQ's recipes sneaking in!

Please do spread the word and get your blogging friends to join in, the more is definitely the merrier!

See you next month!

  1. I can vouch for the awesomeness of Foodie Quine's flapjack recipe! Absolutely totally fantastic! :) I'll try and mind to enter it this month - I didn't see a link to remind me last month, or I would have! Mind to enter it in the Food Blog Diary?
