Meal Planning Monday (8th April 2013)

Another week, another Monday. The weeks are flying past aren't they? And yet, the weather doesn't seem to be improving much. Sure, it's been sunny this weekend but still very cold and I'm very sad that we're into April and still not seen as much as a solitary daffodil appear on the driveway yet. The garden is barren, the cherry trees haven't even started to blossom and it looks decidedly wintery outside. I can't even bring myself to start thinking about planting in the veggie garden yet. Still, it does give me a few more weeks to hide my blubber under baggy jumpers - always look for the silver lining!

There's a kind of plan this week but we're going away for a few days so the plan is scarce. We're going to Cornwall so the plan for those days will mainly be pasties and cream teas. The rest of the week looks like this;

Chicken balti & rice
Salmon, veg and new potatoes
Spaghetti Carbonara
Soup of some description, probably tomato & basil

Sorry, not very inspirational this week. I'm having soup midweek as I'm joining some fitness classes (*faint*) and starting my first class this week. I'm a little scared but going with someone else I know via school so hopefully it won't be too horrific!

Okay - so now it's your turn! If you're new to my blog or #mealplanningmonday all you have to do is this - write a blog post about your meal plan for the week and submit the URL of your post using the Linkytools below. If you've not got a blog but want to join in, that's fine - just leave a comment below telling us what you're planning this week.  Any questions, just grab me via email (in the contact page) or on Twitter @madamding.

Also, the monthly recipe Link Party for April is now active and will run until the end of the month, so if you make something in April that you're proud of and want to share, add it to the Linky on that page which you can find HERE

Look forward to reading your blog posts!

  8. By dividing up the party at several peoples houses you make it easy on
yourself. A murder mystery game is a fun way to pass the time during the
twenties theme party. You Divide everyone at the party into
    two groups, or tribes.

  10. Narrow blood vessels lie alongside the intestines of the earthworm and they absorb the
nutrients from the alimentary canal feeding the rest
of the body. Local country clubs are offering trivia fun for as little as forty dollars per couple.
They feature almost nightly drink specials and some
form of entertainment every night of the week--DJ's, live music, trivia, you name it.

  11. DJ spins out on Saturday nights. You must definitely
be planning to make it special and memorable by keeping a good theme, ordering the best food and choosing the best games.
The decline of the East side blues scene was disheartening, but, it also gave rise to
the need for a fresh start, which came in the form of the next blues-only
venue, Antone's, founded by the late Clifford Antone, during the summer of 1975.
