Happy New Year!
As a rule, over the past year or so I've decided not to make New Years resolutions, they're just too easy to break however there are a few things I want to focus on so there's no harm in putting them down in writing is there?
1. Lose weight. Groan. I know. Everyone has this as a resolution but I need to and I will do it. I had a very focused October and November and lost 13lbs. I'm sure I've put on a couple of lbs over the festive period but I decided to have December off the diet as that would have been really miserable! I know when I find the willpower and set my mind to it I can manage it so I'll be back on it in January.
2. Get fit. It's all very well losing weight but my fitness needs to increase massively. I am so unfit and heart disease runs in my family. I plan to enter a 10k this year which means I really need to up my game and start running again. I've had a few failed attempts at C2K but I'm going to try again.
And erm, that's it.
Not a big list but the most important things I need to focus on in 2013 and by limiting my resolutions I am hoping to be able to stick to them!
