How to tell you are all grown up...

The national newspapers have today published an article about a survey of 2,000 people revealing the 50 things that show you are a fully-fledged adult. As most of the of the time I don't feel anywhere near being grown-up, despite being 32, I thought I'd have a look at the list and see which ones I can tick off.

1. Having a mortgage - yes, done and paid
2. Mum and dad no longer make your financial decisions - yes, haven't done since I was 16

  1. The receipt thing threw me a little bit when I posted.. It seems almost too simple to be on the list- maybe we've missed something?
I'm trying to find any way to get out of being 'grown up' lol xx

    1. I didn't understand that one at all. Perhaps we're not grown up enough?

  2. Oh dear, looks like I'm grown up too :-(
I do try to avoid ironing and I don't file my post though! Not sure about the receipt one either...now if they asked about being able to FIND a receipt when I need to return something, I might not seem quite so grown up!

  3. Good grief, I'm becoming rather grown up and I haven't even graduated yet! By the way, I believe "receipt" is an old-fashioned word for "recipe". That might be what they mean.

  4. Ahha...receipt is also a spell-check alternative for recipe (for journalists who can't spell)!

  6. See, your list would imply you are a grown up but your love of teenage vampire films and baby faced actors with the abs no man over 30 can have without significant effort, says otherwise. ;)
