Morning everybody on this very blustery Monday. Hope you all stay safe in this wind and rain today, batten down the hatches! Today is also our wedding anniversary - two whole years, which have flown by!
We've been in London this weekend - Proms in the Park at Hyde Park followed by a trip to Buckingham Palace to see The Dress. Yes, I went to have a peek at Kate Middletons wedding dress but more about that another time. What with school starts last week and trips away, my meal planning is still all up in the air. In fact my whole life is and I'm going to use today to try and regain some control as I'm failing at everything miserably.
So there's still no real meal plan, I think I may well wing it but I do know that whatever we have this week will be healthy. Possibly excluding Wednesday when I'm going out for dinner with a friend...but tonight is jacket potatoes and salad, accompanied with either tuna, prawns, cheese or beans - depending on what you like. Or all four if you're that way inclined.
They'll definitely be a pasta dish as I am craving it and the blustery autumn weather is turning my mind to casseroles so I'll either be digging out a tried and tested recipe like chicken and red wine casserole or experimenting with some new.
I've popped the Linky below, so do join in. I promise now the dust has settled and routine is commencing again, I'll make sure to check out and comment on all your posts.
love & kisses

I have weeks like that where I don't have any plan at all.
ReplyDeleteA casserole sounds good. We'll be eating more of those in the coming months I think
I'm also having a 'vague meal ideas Monday.' Looking forward to next week...
