Five things I want you to know about your father...

I've never joined in The Friday Club before. In fact until I read Emma at Mummy Musings blogpost this morning I had never heard of it before so it's the first time that I've looked at the concept on the Notes from Home blog.

I occasionally join in with things like The Gallery or The Writing Workshop but I've never been a regular.  However I really liked the theme for this one this week and decided to join in!

Ella is asking us to write five things you want to tell your children about their father, so here goes.

1. Your father is one of the most unselfish people I know. He will literally do anything for you. Don't let him know that you know that, you may want to use it to your advantage when you're older.

2. He's an incredibly hard worker, never lazy. Always willing to turn his hand to any task. It's a good ethos to have and one that I hope you inherit from him. (Note: I don't have it...)

3. He doesn't have a short fuse like I do, he will rarely shout at you. It will take a lot to push him over the edge but please don't do it. Daddy is not a confrontational person and it upsets him to get like that.

4. Daddy has a lot of enthusiasm and passion for projects and hobbies. You'll benefit a lot if you show a little interest and act grateful. He has big plans of things he wants to do with you both when you're a little bit older, things he never got to do himself.

5. Everything that your father does in life, he does for us. His family come first and they always will. He may not tell you often, but he loves and worships you both, probably more than you'll ever know.

There.

Don't let Mr M see this, he'll get a HUGE head.

Why not pop over to Notes from Home and find out what the carnival is all about.

love & kisses

  5. Your post made me cry, for the wrong reasons unfortunately - but that's my problem, not yours...you're a lucky lady x
